The Patch notes for 24.1 mentions a new version of RegDelete.
It’s available at:
http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Studio_24/RegDelete.exe
and includes the Dazzle Driver and PS24 in its dropdown list, as well as all the older versions of Studio. It’s recommended that you use this program if you are having any issues with PS installation. It should remove all entries in the Registries for the selected options, allowing them to be correctly set during installation.
The PS24 option removes the pixie data that holds your serial number, so be sure that you have that to hand before you set about uninstalling and re-installing – it can be found in the Help Menu (?).
Is there a 32 bit version of this reg delete or do you have any suggestions? I am using this on a Microsoft XP install and the pinnacle software was gotten corrupted and is acting buggy
There may have been a 32-bit version in the past, but I’m unsure where you would download it.
However, there are a number of registry editing/cleaning programs avaialable that should be able to delete the Pinnacle entries for you beore you perform a reinstall.
