When Pinnacle Studio 22 was first launched, some users were dismayed to find that the way transitions wee now being created no longer suited their way of working. It could lead to flash or frozen frames. Please note that the latest version of 22 has the option to return the methods of transition placement to “Overlap Clips” in the Project Settings of the Control Panel. However, in many circumstances the new “Maintain Sync” mode may be better in the long term
The following tutorial explains the issue at the time. In it I make no mention of the ability to switch back to the old “overlap clips” mode (because it didn’t exist then!).
